Trip to Camber Sands

Camber Sands in Kent is a perfect place to go if you want to get away for a little while but you don't want to leave your trusty canine friend behind. We went during October 2013. It was unfortunate that I picked the weekend that brought the worst wind I had ever seen but Zeek didn't seem to mind and it was only for the first day, the rest of the weekend was actually quite warm. We stayed in the apartments above the Marina Cafe and there is also the Kit Kat cafe that also allows dogs. Most of the other people that were staying in the same place as us also had dogs and the owners were very helpful and welcoming to us and pooch.

Once Zeek had finally conquered his fear of the stairs leading to the room we got in to our home for the weekend, dropped our things and headed straight for the beach. On to the next adventure! It was amazing to have it right on your door step and Zeek seemed to enjoy this even more than us! Lots of new smells to sniff and places to explore. He loves being in any water that means he is going to come out of it either dirty or sandy and as it was so so windy he dried in no time. He loved exploring the dunes and running up and down the hills. I have never seen so many friendly dogs in one place. A great place for a social lab. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to go on a dog friendly holiday. Also I to urge to you leave a comment of any places you think we could go with the pooch in toe. I'm always looking for new adventures to go on.
